“Choosing Me Now – How to create a healthy relationship with yourself”
Are you so busy taking care of everyone else in your life you have forgotten about taking care of yourself? Our focus on creating healthy relationships with others sometimes means we neglect ourselves; the importance of who we are and what we want out of life may get lost. How do you create a healthy relationship with yourself?
Having a loving, healthy relationship with yourself is so much more than sleeping enough, eating well, and exercising—it’s about becoming that need-satisfying person to yourself!
Olver will provide a thought-provoking look at perception and how external messages become internal to help the audience discern between who they have been told they are and their authentic selves.
A thorough examination of Choice Theory’s basic needs of survival, love & belonging, power, freedom and fun will provide participants with a blueprint for creating that necessary, yet often overlooked, relationship with self. This blueprint can also be applied by parents to help their children develop healthy self-esteem and by teachers helping students do the same.
