Max Greive

Basic Intensive Instructor, Practicum Supervisor (Advanced & Basic)

Max has been learning and using Choice Theory since the 1990’s and is a Basic Intensive Instructor. He continues practising decision making with some growing success.

With 40 years working in the Community Sector,  he is currently employed as a Youth and Family worker in Dungog, working with students in the local schools and with parents and families, which gives him opportunities to spread Dr Glasser’s models of CT/RT/LM and see change occur as participants take charge of their actions and lives.

With his best friend and partner Bronwyn, they run Fosterton Retreat, a property of 100 acres where you can be nurtured by nature, walk labyrinths and join guided spiritual and creative retreats.  They previously co-ordinated a Community Centre “for anyone who needs a little something”, where Choice Theory helped shape the delivery of care and was vital in the training of the 30 plus volunteers who all contributed to the creation of an amazing adventure called mayCare. Where people dreamed of new possibilities which resulted in healthier relationships, connections and communities.

His need for fun, is met by carving wood and making sawdust fly in sculptures and other wooden products.
